Centre for Applied Philosophy (CAP)

CAP Conferences

The Centre for Applied Philosophy (C.A.P.) was established at Flinders University in December, 1994. Since then it has been involved in organising several conferences on contentious issues of public concern.

To date, we have been involved in the organisation of conferences on Industrial Relations, a series of public lectures on Euthanasia, a conference on Cultural Heritage and one on the Ethos of the University. We have also recently completed a series of five public lectures on the impact of biotechnology and science on lifestyle choices

* see CAP Publication page for details of subsequent publications in these areas.
