Reminder: Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Early Career Researchers at Flinders
The Vice-Chancellor has launched a new scheme to support and reward outstanding contributions to research made by early career researchers at Flinders University. The awards (valued at $2,500 each) will be presented annually and up to 10 awards are available for award per year. Researchers eligible for an award will be current research/academic staff or hold full academic status at the University and have received their PhD (or professional doctorate) no more than 10 years previously (at the time of nomination). The grant given as part of the award will fund opportunities to broaden the recipient's networks and enhance their standing and recognition within their field. The award will be conferred in recognition of research/academic achievements shown by track record and/or potential, demonstrated by:
• Specific research achievements
• Publication record
• Awards or prizes
• Positions gained
• Grants obtained
• Patents held
