Tony retired as a full-time academic in September 2004 following nearly 40 years teaching and researching, primarily in the areas of property and consumer law. He joined the Flinders Law School in 1994 having previously taught at the Universities of Adelaide and Melbourne. In 1998 Tony commenced a three year term as Dean of the School. He is the co-author of the casebook Australian Property Law Cases and Materials and of the texts Australian Real Property Law, Residential Tenancy Law and Practice and Contract, Credit and the Law, and the editor of the Real Property volume of the Laws of Australia series.  Outside the Law School he is Secretary of the Consumers Association of South Australia and Council Secretary of Lincoln College.
