Marinella Marmo BA (Hons, Law) (Salerno), PhD (Lancaster)
Marinella Marmo joined the Law School in mid-2005 as a Lecturer in Criminal Justice and Criminology, coming from a position as Lecturer at the University of Leicester and, previously, the Liverpool John Moores University.
Her doctoral research was on European Criminal Justice and the judiciary at Lancaster University. Her research interests include European criminal justice and criminology; comparative criminal law; international criminal justice; criminal law aspects of human rights and the EU; transnational crime and the role of the state; the judiciary as policy-shapers and policy-makers in criminal justice.
