Chris joined the Law School as a Senior Lecturer in July 2001 after teaching in the School of Commerce. Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Education from Flinders. He teaches Corporate Law, Insolvency Law and Commercial Practice. He has contributed to the treatise on Debtor Creditor Law (Mathew Bender LexisNexis, USA) and is the author of a student text on Bankruptcy. He previously taught parts of the Corporate Law [Drafting] topic as well as teaching commercial law subjects for the School of Commerce. He has practised as a commercial and corporate lawyer in South Australia. He has written predominantly in the corporate insolvency law area and has contributed to the Laws of Australia (LBC Information Services). In 2006 Chris completed a PhD thesis on showing the justifications for statutory priorities in corporate insolvency.
