Required format

Print (or type) on one side of the page only, using a 12-point font. Double-space throughout, except for block quotations and footnotes. Use A4 paper, and provide margins of three to four centimetres on all sides for comments. Indent the beginnings of paragraphs. Number pages consecutively throughout, including the bibliography page. Before submitting your paper, attach the appropriate departmental cover sheet, and staple securely at the top left-hand corner. Each essay or assignment should have a separate cover sheet. Please do not place essays in plastic envelopes.

Always keep a hard copy of the final draft of your paper.
