Logical terms

Critical prose naturally makes distinctions. One result is the necessary use of words like “however”, “nevertheless”, and “therefore”. These words must make logical sense in context. Avoid monotony, firstly by omitting them where possible; secondly by varying the words themselves (see a dictionary for synonyms, a thesaurus for related words); and thirdly by varying their places in sentences.
