Support services and the study environment

As a postgraduate student, you have access to:

Scholarships: Australian Postgraduate Research Awards (APRA) and Flinders University Research Scholarships (FURS) are awarded annually across the University, on merit. The Closing date for applications is usually October 31 of the year prior to commencement. (Full-time research students are normally provided with exemption from HECS fees).

Access to a desk in a room with other postgrads, and a computer, with email and full internet access.

Research support funds, for photocopying, etc.

Support for attendance at conferences.

Access to the resources of the Flinders University Library, and substantial inter-library loan facilities.

Two supervisors.

Access to all the activities and the collegial atmosphere of postgraduate life in the School.
