Occupational Health and Safety - Supervisory Training on FLO

For the convenience of Flinders University staff the OH&S Unit has developed a training program on FLO. The program enables staff to complete their Certificate of Supervisory Training on-line at:

Even though you might not have the word ‘supervisor’ in your job title, you may still be a supervisor under the terms of the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act, 1986.

A Supervisor is :

any person, academic or non-academic, who provides guidance and/or instruction regarding the activities of another person at work or study.

Please note that all academic staff are supervisors for the purposes of the Act.
