Excursions
Excursions are field trips taken by a class to enhance their
learning of a topic. By venturing outside school grounds, students
are able to take advantage of unique learning environments not normally
encountered within the school classroom. They have the opportunity
to extend and transfer their knowledge beyond the classroom and learn in
a fun, engaging and more stimulating context.
These type of learning environments makes use of alternative
learning strategies and is beneficial for student learning, particularly
in providing:

real world experiences
