In South Australia, the School of the Air is based at Port Augusta.  The school provides a unique method of teaching and learning.  The students of the School of the Air enjoy some experiences not available to students in regular school settings.  For example, they have spoken to astronauts, to captains of ships at sea.

The school provides an educational standard similar to that offered in regular schools.  This includes:
