We must encourage creativity in the classroom, for without it, children will never learn how to creatively express what they see or feel. They will not have the opportunity to show others how they see the world, and very importantly, how they see themselves. This section covers the importance of creativity and free expression, and how to promote these in the classroom. It also looks at what can prevent creativity, which is something we would want to avoid doing at all costs. We highly recommend starting this section by reading a story called 'The Little Boy', which truly highlights the importance of creative expression.
