My
Studies Top
Currently I am in
my third year of a Bachelor of Education (Junior
Primary/Primary), and am loving it! Although I have only
been out on one teaching practicum, I know that I am going
to love teaching, as I really enjoy the work - noise,
disorgansation and all!
During my course I have completed studies from several different areas, including: history,information technology, psychology and disability studies.
I hope to eventually teach in the junior primary school area.
My
Family Top
I come from a
wonderful family, whom I adore. I have a great mother
(Elizabeth) and father (David) and three siblings: Nathan
(26... and Amanda his wife at 21); Warwick (25) and Carlie
(19). They are all wonderful.
My family is currently spread across three states. Mum, Dad and Warwick live in country Victoria, Nathan and Amanda live in country New South Wales, while Carlie and I live in Adelaide. We all keep in close contact, though!
My
Hobbies Top
I have a couple
of hobbies, which I really enjoy. Firstly, I love to read,
particularly historical novels. I just couldn't do without a
book, especially in the winter!
Secondly, I like crafts and sewing. I find these things useful as well as relaxing... you should try it!
I also enjoy spending time with children, which is good, I suppose, seeing as my entire career choice hinges on that very thing! Up to this point, though, this time has mostly included running kid's clubs and babysitting, which have provided me with ample opportunity to practice my artistic ideas on kids.
