Drama Honours (BA)

Honours is an opportunity to pursue an advanced program of study in Drama and to develop research skills by writing a thesis. The Honours program is available to all students with a major in Drama at Distinction level or better in their third year. An Honours degree is the usual requirement for admission to postgraduate study. It also offers valuable specialisation for students intending to teach Drama.

Honours students in the BA and the BCA study DRAM7516 Contemporary Australian Drama which looks at Australian writing for performance from 1990 to now. BA Honours students also study HUMN7000 Research Skills and Professional Practice and two Drama theory electives.
