Title Second-Generation Greek-Australian Students: The Role of Cultural and Linguistic Diversity

I examine the academic performance of first and second generation Australian students of Greek ancestry at Victoria University in 2007. Following Messinis et al. (2009) and Messinis (2009), I also examine the role of cultural and linguistic diversity (CALD) in explaining student progression. The study accounts for confounding factors such as socio-economic status, gender, age, employment status, and intensity of study.
