Faculty Awards for Excellence in Teaching

We are now calling for nominations for a new set of excellence in teaching awards that have been established within the faculty.
The  5 awards, each with a prize of $3,000, aim to recognise and reward  the quality teaching we provide to students.

The awards have been designed to reflect the criteria for the Flinders University and national teaching awards, but involve a shortened application form. This  will make it easier for our award winners to apply for the University and National teaching awards.

For full details please see the policy and guideline information website http://ehlt.flinders.edu.au/ehlt/teaching/

Please consider those staff you believe meet the criteria for the awards, and nominate them.

Nominated teachers  need to complete applications by the 31 July, so it is important that they are nominated soon.
The awards will be officially launched at the faculty forum on June 27, 2008

Larry Owens
Associate Head (Faculty Teaching and Learning)
